What you'll practice.

Curriculum
2 exercises
  1. 01Chord qualityIdentify chord colors in short musical loops.
  2. 02Chord progressionsHear a looped progression and name each chord as a Roman numeral.

How the practice works.

  1. Short and deliberate beats long and unfocused.

Ten focused minutes a day compounds faster than an hour every other weekend.

  2. Real musical context, not isolated tones.

Every exercise starts from a musical loop with harmony, meter, and arrangement context intact.

  3. Submit, then listen.

The audition step, hearing your answer against the source material, is where ears get sharper. Feedback without listening is just trivia.

Questions.

How quickly will I notice a difference?
Musical ear training improves gradually with consistent practice. Most people notice they identify chord colors and common harmonic motion more reliably after a few weeks of daily training. Your starting point and time per session matter more than calendar weeks.
Will my musicianship actually get better?
Ear training is one input to musicianship. It will not replace repertoire, technique, or theory, but it makes musical details easier to recognize while listening, writing, and rehearsing.
Do I need to know music theory?
Some basics help, but the first exercises are intentionally concrete: chord quality and common Roman numeral progressions. The app gives the labels you need as you practice.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, on any modern mobile browser. Desktop is more comfortable for longer practice sessions, but the core exercises work on a phone.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account page; your access stays through the end of your current billing period and reverts to Free after that.
